Organic passata made with Italian tomatoes

With Alce Nero organic passata, you have a smooth, versatile tomato base for a range of Mediterranean dishes. The tomatoes are grown in Italy and harvested in July, August and September. They are then processed with care to retain their characteristic flavour and aroma. The result is a velvety passata with a fine texture.

A simple base for your dishes

The ingredient list is short: organic tomatoes, and nothing else. No additives or salt are added, so you can season the passata to suit your taste. Simmer it gently with onion, garlic and fresh herbs for an easy pasta sauce. It also makes a great base for soup, pizza or a casserole. Stir it through warm pasta or add it to a slow-cooked dish for a rich tomato flavour.

Three convenient portions

The pack contains three 200 g cartons. Open just as much as you need and keep the others sealed for another meal. It’s a handy portion size, without having to open a large carton.

Storage and use

Store unopened cartons in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate the passata and use it within 3–4 days.
