Pepino fruits are relatively large, up to 0.5 kg, spherical or egg-shaped, with an interesting combination of sweet tastes of pineapple, lemon, pear, and melon. The flowering and fruiting shrub can be a wonderful decoration for a terrace or balcony. Requires support. Requirements for the location are the same as for tomatoes. Sow under covers in pots from February to April, or after May 15 directly into the ground. Before winter, plants should be placed in a bright room with a temperature above 5°C.
