Kelp
Japanese kelp – Laminaria japonica, also known as KELP, is a type of edible brown algae from the Laminariaceae family, naturally found in Japan and also cultivated in China and Korea. Japanese kelp grows on rocky substrates in cold waters and has the form of a simple ribbon structure in golden or olive brown. This seaweed is valued for its content of natural iodine – a chemical element from the halogen group that is an essential micronutrient in the human diet.
The extract of Japanese kelp used in the OstroVit product is standardized for iodine content, which benefits the quality of the dietary supplement.
Recommended use
Take 1 serving (1 tablet) daily after a meal. The product is intended for adults.
