Carrot oil is an extract from carrots and contains beta-carotene, vitamins B, C, E and F, as well as minerals and fatty acids.<p>
Applying carrot oil to the skin
Carrot oil has a distinct scent. Beta-carotene is involved in normal skin pigmentation. The oil is often added to bronzing cosmetics and after-sun oils.
Carrot oil also contains vitamins E and A.
Applying carrot oil to the hair
Carrot oil can also be used as a hair conditioner.
