Runner bean Painted Lady

An old, proven variety resistant to pests and diseases. It yields reliably and additionally has the best texture and taste among runner beans. The vines grow from 2.5-3 meters, creating a flowering screen when supported. The edible flowers are bicolored with cream-pink petals. The delicate, relatively short pods produce brown seeds that are a source of vitamin C, folic acid, and iron. Sow directly into the ground from mid-May to the end of July.
