Easy to take with you, delicious with coffee, and surprisingly tasty in all kinds of dishes. You get pure dried fruit, with no added sugar – only naturally occurring sugars.

Flavour and texture profile

Expect a fresh, lightly citrusy tang with a warm, fruity sweetness afterwards. The berries are firm and slightly chewy, so they hold up well in mixes and bakes without disappearing right away.

How to use Inca berries

You can eat them straight out of hand, or turn them into something extra in seconds:

• As a snack: plain, or mixed with nuts and seeds
• In breakfast: stirred into oatmeal, granola, yoghurt or quark
• In baking: muffins, cookies, banana bread or spiced breakfast loaf
• In desserts: over ice cream, pudding, cheesecake or chocolate mousse
• In salads: for a sweet-tart accent with leafy greens and (vegan) cheese alternatives

Tip: soak briefly in lukewarm water if you want them a bit softer for baking or to mix into batter.
