Field beans are an ancient crop that is currently very popular due to the large amount (over 27%) of plant-based proteins. Field beans contain more protein than the well-known types of beans. Plant-based proteins are an excellent substitute for animal proteins.<fp>

Field Bean Soup:<2fh4>

Treat the whole field beans the same way as peas (soaking, cooking, and grinding). Then use the same ingredients as for pea soup.<2fp>

Party Beans:<2fh4>

Requirements:<2fstrong> 100 gr soaked field beans, 1 tablespoon canola oil<2fp>

Version 1:<2fstrong>
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder<2fa>
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder<2fa>
- 1/2 teaspoon salt<2fp>

Version 2: <2fstrong>
- 2 tablespoons rosemary
- 2 teaspoons Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder<2fa><2fp>

This is how you make it:<2fstrong> Preheat the oven to 180°C. Chop the leaves of fresh rosemary into small pieces (dried rosemary can also be used without chopping). Put the field beans in a mixing bowl. Add the herbs, salt, and oil to them. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Spread the field beans over the baking paper. Place the baking tray in the oven. Mix the beans after 15 minutes. Stir again after another 10 minutes. Remove the beans from the oven after baking for 30-40 minutes and let them cool. When making party beans, you can add herbs to your taste. The versions shown here are examples of flavor combinations.<2fp>
