Lion's mane – Hericium erinaceus – is a type of Asian mushroom from the Hericiaceae family. It is an edible mushroom usually found in deciduous forests, mainly growing on weak, old, or dead trees. This mushroom stands out due to its distinctive appearance and is therefore also called lion's mane. The lion's mane resembles hanging icicles 2-6 cm long, which are initially white and later become yellowish or brown. The mushroom is also characterized by a unique smell that resembles the taste of seafood.
In the OstroVit product, an extract of lion's mane is used, standardized to 30% polysaccharides, ensuring a high content of valuable ingredients in the supplement.
Gebruiksadvies
Neem 1 portie (1 capsule) per dag, bij de maaltijd.
