With the Geert Best Oat Fruit Cake mix, you can easily bake a delicious batch of crispy snack biscuits. The gluten-free mix is made with oat flour and fava beans from our own cultivation. This gives you a pure baking product with a full flavor and a characteristic, slightly nutty note.

The preparation is simple: you only add oil and one egg. Prefer to bake plant-based? Then replace the egg with a plant-based egg substitute of your choice. Just mix, roll out, pre-cut, and the oven does the rest. Ideal for a weekend baking moment, a homemade treat with coffee, or a crispy biscuit on the go.

How to prepare the oat fruit cake

• Add the mix, one egg, and the oil together in a bowl.
• Stir everything well until it forms a cohesive dough.
• Place baking paper on a baking tray and spoon the dough onto it.
• Cover with a second sheet of baking paper and roll out the dough to about 5 mm thick.
• Cut or mark the cake into the desired portions.
• Bake the cake for about 18 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.

Let the cake cool היט after baking. During cooling, the texture becomes extra crispy. Store the cooled cake airtight in a dry place so that the flavor and bite are preserved as long as possible.
