Pumpkin Seed Oil

Pumpkin seed oil is pressed from carefully selected and raw pumpkin seeds from Poland. It is characterized by a high content of valuable unsaturated fatty acids Omega-6 (linoleic acid) and Omega-9 (oleic acid) and phytosterols. Additionally, it is a valuable source of vitamins E, D, A, B group, micro- and macroelements, and the alkaloid - cucurbitacin (anti-parasitic effect).

Pumpkin seed oil is recommended for digestive system ailments, similar to pumpkin seeds themselves. Pumpkin seed oil promotes body cleansing and detoxification processes.

Uses of Pumpkin Seed Oil

Pumpkin seed oil has a green-gold color and a slightly nutty, bitter taste. It can be used as an addition to:

• ice cream - traditionally served this way in Austria. It tastes best with vanilla or cream ice cream - connoisseurs emphasize that ice cream served with pumpkin seed oil acquires a pistachio aroma
• raspberries and blueberries and as an addition to desserts with mascarpone cheese
• bread - instead of butter or margarine, delicious for dipping bread
• salads and raw vegetables - as a tasty and healthy dressing or ingredient in other sauces
• cottage cheese and cottage cheese paste
• yogurts, fruit and vegetable smoothies, morning oatmeal, cereals
• drizzling over cooked vegetables and summer dishes: rice, potatoes, fish, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, as an addition to soups

Dosage: It is recommended to use pumpkin seed oil once a day, 1 tablespoon for adults. Children and adolescents should consume 1 teaspoon daily.

It can only be used cold, it should not be heated as it causes a loss of nutritional value.
