A perennial plant, recommended for ailments of the digestive tract. Tea made from it alleviates migraine and insomnia. Placed in wardrobes, it effectively protects against moths. Sow the seeds in a cold frame in March–April or in a seedbed in October–November. Before sowing, the seeds should be cold-stratified for 2–3 months at a temperature of 2–4°C. Plant the seedlings in their permanent location after May 15, when they are 4–5 cm tall.
