An annual plant with a characteristic aroma. Height 30-40 cm. Blooms from VII to VIII. Sow seeds at the end of IV directly in open ground, at a depth of 1 cm. The sweet, aromatic seeds are used as a spice in the alcohol industry and as an addition to baked goods. Tea or an infusion of the seeds is traditionally consumed.
