Chokeberry tea – your healthy moment of enjoyment
Chokeberries are a fruit packed with vitamins. Chokeberries are not very popular in the Netherlands, but you can grow them here. They ripen from late September to early October. They taste sour and astringent. You can taste that same flavor in Malwa's chokeberry tea. The tea is packaged in 20 tea bags.
Ingredients of chokeberry tea
The tea consists of 60% chokeberries, hibiscus flowers, flavoring and elderberries.
The perfect tea moment
Whether you drink it during the day or in the evening, enjoy a delicious cup of chokeberry tea and take a moment to relax. Its distinctive flavor makes every sip a pleasure. The tea contains no caffeine, so you don't have to worry about having trouble falling asleep later.
Tip from ietsGezond.nl: thanks to its sour flavor, chokeberry tea is also delicious as iced tea in summer! Put 2 tea bags in a cup and pour boiling water over them. Remove the tea bags after 10 minutes, pour the tea into a thermos jug, add ice cubes and top up with water. That way, you can enjoy delicious iced chokeberry tea on a hot summer's day!
