Description

Grape rue herb can be used to make a tasty tea. It can also be used as a spice for game, fish, heavy dishes and cottage cheese.

The rue herb was known in ancient times as a medicine, spice and ceremonial plant. It was especially prized by the Romans as an ingredient of 'moretum' - a country dish made from cheese, onion, garlic, parsley and rue herb. The Romans also used it to flavor wine.

Today, rue leaves are used to preserve/important for a good condition of the blood vessels.

Fresh or dried and powdered leaves are used as a cooking spice for fish, cheese, game, cocktails, wine and herb vinegar.
