OstroVit MCT coconut oil is a dietary supplement and a source of medium-chain MCT fatty acids, obtained from coconut oil. The product is available in liquid form and is easy to use in your daily diet.

MCT oil – medium-chain fatty acids
MCT oil, or medium-chain fatty acids (medium-chain triglycerides), are saturated fats consisting of fatty acids with 6 to 10 (and according to some sources up to 12) carbon atoms.
MCT oil is usually extracted from coconut oil, but can also come from palm oil or milk fat. MCT oil consists of fatty acids such as caproic acid (C6), caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). Due to its neutral taste and smell, it is a popular choice to add to, for example, coffee, smoothies, dressings or other dishes. MCT oil is also used in cosmetics as an ingredient in skin and hair care products.
Recommended use
Take 1 serving of the product twice daily, 12 g (2 tablespoons) with meals. The recommended serving of the product can be increased every 3 days by 12 g to adjust the desired amount to your use. Taking a single amount greater than 100 g of the product may cause stomach and intestinal discomfort.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use the product as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are recommended. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the product ingredients. The product should not be used by children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Keep out of reach of children.
