Sea Buckthorn Oil
Sea buckthorn seed oil is pressed from carefully selected seeds of sea buckthorn growing in Poland. It is characterized by a high content of carotenoids and valuable polyunsaturated fatty acids: Omega-3 (linolenic acid) and Omega-6 (linoleic acid).

Uses of Sea Buckthorn Oil
Sea buckthorn seed oil has a red color and a slightly sweet taste.
- In natural medicine, sea buckthorn oil is used to counteract the negative effects of X-ray radiation and the toxic effects of medications.
- It is recommended as support for the body after chemotherapy.
- Sea buckthorn oil was given to Russian astronauts as protection against radiation.
- Sea buckthorn oil is often recommended for heartburn and peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum.
- Sea buckthorn contains a lot of beta-carotene and therefore stains orange. As a result, it is added to cosmetics - including hair coloring rinses and self-tanners (improves and evens out skin tone, giving it a golden hue).
- Due to its high concentration of polyphenols and minerals, sea buckthorn oil is added to hair conditioners and shampoos. It is also used as an aid in treating dandruff and hair loss.
- Sea buckthorn is added to creams intended for the care of dry skin. Additionally, it is used in the production of sunbathing products where it acts as a natural blocker of UVA and UVB rays.
It can only be used cold, it should not be heated as this causes a loss of nutritional value.
Contraindications for the use of sea buckthorn oil: inflammation of the liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
Dosage: Adults are initially recommended to use: half a teaspoon gradually increasing to a teaspoon (5ml) 2 – 3 times a day.
Storage Tips
To maintain the freshness and quality of hemp oil, it is best stored in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight. After opening, the oil can be stored in the refrigerator to preserve its optimal taste and nutritional value.
