Perennial, frost-resistant onion. Bulbs in an attractive purple-red color, gradually transitioning to green, tubular leaves. It grows best in sunny locations and humus-rich, well-drained soil with a neutral pH. It can grow in one place for about 4-5 years. It spreads vigorously, forming clumps. Contains large amounts of vitamin C, A, and iron. Ideal for scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, salads, soups. Sow at a depth of 1-2 cm directly into the ground from April to August, in rows 30 cm apart. When the plant reaches a height of about 5 cm, thinning should be done, leaving plants every few centimeters.
