An attractive early variety (growing period 50–55 days), resistant to bolting and downy mildew, for cultivation in spring, summer, and autumn. It forms very large, compact heads, up to 1 kg, composed of crisp, light-green leaves with a blistered surface. Sow to a depth of 0.5–1 cm in March under cover or in April–May in a seedbed for an early-summer harvest, or from mid-July–August for an autumn harvest. Requires fertile soil rich in nutrients and water.
