BIO coconut oil comes from organic farming, which means that food must be at least 95% sourced from organic agriculture. BIO coconut oil is cold-pressed from the flesh of the coconut and is of organic quality. No further processing or additives, a 100% natural product. At 26 °C coconut oil is white in color and has a solid form that becomes liquid at higher temperatures. It also has a characteristic coconut scent. It is very stable and suitable for use at high temperatures. This means it can be stored in many conditions. Coconut oil is widely used in the kitchen and can be an alternative to other fats in various recipes. Naturally, coconut oil contains fatty acids, including lauric acid.

Use of organic coconut oil

In the kitchen:
- can be used as a spread (on bread), so suitable for people who do not want to use butter
- for frying/baking; suitable for use at high temperatures
- as an ingredient in the preparation of cakes, pies and chocolate desserts

For the body:
Cold-pressed and unrefined coconut oil is often chosen because of its pure composition and natural scent and texture. Can be used for skin and hair.
