Acorn flour is a traditional ingredient used as food, with a versatile composition including potassium, calcium, and magnesium. It is also high in fiber and contains more than 5% unsaturated fatty acids.
How to use
Acorn flour can be mixed with grain flour (in a ratio of 2/3 grain flour and 1/3 acorn flour) for baking bread, rolls, cookies, and other products. It can be used for all kinds of dishes where grain flour is normally added, such as pasta, egg omelets, and potato pancakes (e.g., add 1/3 acorn flour to 2/3 grated potatoes).
