Xylitol is a natural sweetener that naturally occurs in the fibers of many types of vegetables, fruits, and trees, such as birches.
Our birch sugar comes from Finland.
Birch sugar contains 40% fewer calories than regular table sugar. The sweetness of xylitol (birch sugar) is approximately equal to that of sugar, but it contains 75% fewer carbohydrates than sucrose.
Xylitol in the kitchen can successfully replace white sugar. It is great for sweetening beverages and desserts, but also for baking and preparing fruit preserves because it withstands high temperatures.

100 grams of xylitol contain 240 kcal. For comparison: 100 g of white sugar contains 386 kcal. Therefore, birch sugar has almost half (40%) fewer calories compared to white sugar.

Xylitol is a natural substance increasingly used as a replacement for white sugar. Xylitol looks similar to traditional sugar. The taste is also similar, but it has a delicate mint aftertaste. Where can we find birch xylitol?
Xylitol is an ingredient of natural origin. It is primarily located in the bark of Finnish birches, from which it is most often obtained.
